Climate
San Antonio is located on the edge of the Gulf Coastal Plains. Summer is hot, but rarely over 100º Fahrenheit. There is an average 70% chance of sunshine during the summer months. Casual dress is appropriate for all meetings and social events.
Copies and Faxing
Photocopying and faxing services are available at the Business Center of the Marriott Rivercenter. The San Antonio Copy Concierge located at 111 Soledad St. Ste. 600, (tel: 210-223-2679) can also assist with photocopying and faxing needs, and is only a short walk from the Rivercenter.
Internet Use
The Marriott’s full Business Center offers high-speed wired Internet Access. Wireless Internet Access is also available in the hotel lobby.
Dining & Entertainment
There are five distinct dining options at the Marriott Rivercenter. The Garden Cafe features casual family dining for all meals. Hanatai Sushi Bar has a menu of various sushi entrees and a relaxed atmosphere. For heavier meals, JW Steakhouse has prime steaks and fresh seafood. The Lobby Bar offers lighter fare and a large drink menu. Room service is available 24 hours a day at your own expense.
Directly outside the entrance to the Marriott Rivercenter is the San Antonio Riverwalk. Located in the River Bend District, the Riverwalk is home to numerous specialty shops, restaurants, taverns, galleries, nightclubs, and bakeries. Also within two blocks of the hotel are the Convention Center, the Alamo, Buckhorn Saloon and Museum, Institute of Texan Cultures, Hemisfair Plaza, and (one block further) the Arneson River Theater in the historic La Villita district. Liability insurance is the responsibility of each individual delegate. All delegates should have their own medical coverage.

Marriott Message Service/Lost and Found/Child Care
The SSR Information Desk and Message Center will be on the third floor of the Marriott Rivercenter. Messages for attendees may be posted on a board near the desk. If you have lost something, go to the front desk of the Marriott for assistance. Child care is available through the hotel. Please call the Marriott Rivercenter for more details: 210- 223-1000.
Smoking Regulations
Smoking is prohibited in the Marriott Rivercenter.
Sales Taxes
