San Antonio International Airport (SAT) transportation
The San Antonio Trans Shuttle runs a shuttle service from the airport and is available just outside the terminals near the baggage claim area. This service costs US $14 for a twenty-minute trip downtown (one-way), or US $24 (round trip). For more information, visit www.saairportshuttle.com.
San Antonio’s metropolitan transit system, VIA, offers rides to the downtown area Monday through Sunday, for about US $0.80. Ground Transportation agents are located at the curbsides of each terminal, and can provide transportation schedules. The bus pick-up area is located at the outer curb, center island, across from the Terminal 2 baggage claim. Bus trips downtown take nearly an hour, and require two transfers to get to the Marriott Rivercenter. For more information, visit: http://www.viainfo.net/Ride/Default.aspx.
Inter-terminal shuttle service at the airport is free, and runs between the terminals every 5-10 minutes, 24 hours a day.
Shuttle Service at the Hotel
The Marriott Rivercenter does not provide shuttle service.
Taxi Service
Nine taxi companies are available in San Antonio; please consult the San Antonio phone directory or reception staff at the Marriott Rivercenter. At the airport, taxis are on-hand outside the baggage claim area of Terminal 1, at the lower level curbside, and at the front curbside of Terminal 2, just outside the baggage claim area.
Car Rentals
San Antonio International Airport currently has ten car rental companies available to passengers, with counter space in each of the terminals. These are Hertz, Alamo, Capps, Budget, Enterprise, Thrifty, Avis, Dollar, Advantage, and National.
City Bus Service

Parking
As of April, 2007, on-site parking at the Marriott Rivercenter is available for US $21 per day. Valet parking is available for US $27 per day. Parking Meters
There is free parking at city parking meters after 6 p.m. (Mon-Sat) and free parking all day on Sunday. Otherwise the Monday–Saturday rates are:
- One-hour meters ($1.00 per hour)
- Two-hour meters ($1.00 per hour)
- Two-hour meters ($.50 per hour)
- Ten-hour meters ($.20 per hour)
