Experience on-campus living at Penn State! Rooms have been reserved for SSR participants in two sets of dormitories on the Penn State campus. Comfortable, air-conditioned, and recently renovated, the rooms boast microwaves, refrigerators, linen service, and a convenient location only minutes away from the scientific session venues. A very limited number of rooms are available for the SSR at a few nearby hotels in State College.

Eastview Terrace
The Eastview Terrace Dormitories consist of single rooms, each with a private bath and comfortable, common areas on each floor. The cost for these rooms is $60/person/night. These dormitories are located next to the Pollock Dining Commons, where a full breakfast will be available Monday through Wednesday at no extra charge. Directly across the street from Eastview Terrace is downtown State College, with a multitude of restaurants, pubs and shops.

Rooms are available beginning Friday, 10 August, through Thursday, 16 August.
North Hall Dorms
The North Residence Halls consist of double rooms (two twin beds per room), and two of these rooms share a common bathroom. The price of these rooms is $60/person/night if single, $45/person/night if two are sharing a room. You may specify a roommate or roommates as long as it is specified by both people (or all four) making reservations. A full breakfast at no extra charge is included with your room, and will be made available Monday through Wednesday at the Pollock Dining Commons.

Hotels and Motels
The Atherton Hotel
$85 per night for a room (single or double occupancy only) from 12 August through 15 August.
$145 per night for a room (single or double occupancy only) on 10 August and 11 August.
Please make your reservations directly with the Atherton Hotel Reservation Department by calling 814-231-2100 or 800-832-0132. You must tell the hotel staff that you are with the SSR Group to receive these rates. Reservations can also be made through its website. Enter the group code SOCIE100812 into the reservation form under “Special Rates”. These reservations must be received by the hotel no later than 10 July, 2012. Reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
Days Inn State College
$79 per night for a room (single or double occupancy only) from 12 August through 16 August.
$130 per night for a room (single or double occupancy only) on 11 August.
Rate increases by $10 per night for triple occupancy and by $20 per night for quad occupancy.
Please make your reservations directly with the Days Inn Hotel by calling 1-800-258-3297 (Toll Free Direct) or 814- 238-8454 (Hotel Direct). You must tell the hotel staff that you are with the SSR (Group code CGSSRN) to receive these rates. International attendees may make a reservation by fax or email through the Days Inn Sales Office with this reservation form. These reservations must be received by the hotel no later than 12 July, 2012. Reservations received after this date will be honored on a space-available basis.
