SSR 2015 Registration

Pre-registration for the 48th Annual Meeting of the SSR is no longer available. Registration will open on-site at the meeting on 18 June 2015.

Welcome! You may now register for the 48th Annual Meeting of the SSR. You may pay for registration by credit card, check, money order, or bank transfer. Purchase orders are not accepted.

Pre-registration will close after Friday, 29 May 2015. Registration forms received after 29 May will not be processed until the Meeting starts in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Registration will be available on-site at the Meeting.

Everyone entering the 2015 SSR meeting space must be registered for the Meeting and wear a 2015 meeting badge; there will be no exceptions.

*Nonmember trainees must submit a signed statement from their
major professor or mentor to qualify for the trainee discount.

The cost of registering for the Annual Meeting depends on your membership or career status. Members of the Society are eligible for discounted registration, while trainees (undergraduate and graduate students) are eligible for an additional registration discount, regardless of current membership status. If you are unsure of your current membership status, please contact the SSR Membership Department.

Registration fees cover:

  • Attendance at all scientific sessions.
  • Attendance at the Opening Reception (7:00–8:30 p.m., Thursday 18 June).
  • Attendance at the Diversity Symposium (to attend the accompanying Diversity Symposium lunch, noon–1:30 p.m., Friday 19 June, tickets must be pre-purchased).

A light breakfast and morning & afternoon beverage breaks Friday–Sunday will be made available to registrants.

Registration Forms

Pre-registration for the annual meeting is no longer available. Please register on-site at the meeting.

If you were an SSR Member at any time during the last eight years (2006–2015), the Online Registration Form will assign an appropriate registration rate for your membership type (Regular, Trainee, Emeritus, etc.), using your e-mail address to identify you. If your membership has lapsed, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership and qualify for a discounted registration rate. If you were an SSR Member prior to 2006 and wish to renew to qualify for the discounted registration rate, please contact the Membership Department for a renewal form before registering for the Meeting.

Developing Countries
Members who renew their memberships while registering online will not be given the opportunity to take advantage of the 2015 Developing Country Discount. If you are from a Developing Country (see list here) and wish to take advantage of the Developing Country Discount when renewing your Regular or Associate membership, please renew your membership before registering for the Meeting; see our Membership Renewal page.

Single-Day Registration will be available on-site at the meeting. Single-day rates will be:

Meeting Check-in

Registration packets will contain a receipt of payment, name badge, and vouchers for special purchases; packets will be distributed at the SSR Pre-registration site.

Cancellation

Refunds, less a $25 service charge, will be issued for cancellations received in writing on or before 29 May 2015. Cancellations received after 29 May and before 8 June will be subject to a service charge of USD $75. No refund will be issued for cancellations received on or after 8 June 2015. Refunds will be issued within four weeks after the Annual Meeting has concluded.
