Current and past members of the Society may renew their memberships online or by submitting a renewal form. Payment can be in the form of credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover), check, bank or wire transfer, or money order. Dues amounts for renewal are posted on the Dues page.
Online Renewal
2013 online membership renewal is available for current members and for those who have had active memberships any time during the years 2006–2012. To renew, members must sign in with their e-mail address.
Former members whose memberships lapsed before 2006 will need to request a Membership Renewal form from the SSR Business Office.
Trainees and Online Renewal
Trainees who renew online must separately submit a signature from their mentor or major professor certifying their trainee status in order to qualify for the heavily discounted Trainee dues rate; they may print out the Mentor Signature Form for that purpose. Trainee memberships will not be considered renewed until the SSR Business Office receives this signed statement.
The online renewal system will assess Trainee dues based on the doctoral status on file (2013 dues are $50 for pre-doctoral students, and $65 for post-doctoral students). If you have acquired a doctoral degree in the last year, please let the SSR Business Office know before you use the online renewal system, so that we may correctly adjust your dues.
Multi-Year Renewal (Regular members only)
Regular members who would like to renew for multiple years (up to three) at 2013 membership rates should contact the SSR Business Office to receive a customized membership renewal form. This offer is not available to Emeritus, Associate, or Trainee members.
Online and Print BOR Subscriptions
All memberships automatically include an online subscription to Biology of Reproduction. There is no member discount on print subscriptions to Biology of Reproduction.
Developing Country Discount
Regular and Associate Society members who are living and working in developing countries may request a 50% discount on membership dues. Members should consult the list of developing countries to determine eligibility. Regular or Associate members who renew online may use the Promotion Code “DEVELOP” to automatically receive a discount; members who request a renewal form to renew by mail or fax will be given a form with the correct dues amount.
Membership Renewal Form Requests
Members who do not wish to renew online, or who have not had an active membership in the last seven years, should request a Membership Renewal Form from the SSR Business office. The renewal form can be sent to members by e-mail (as a PDF document), fax, or mail.

Change of Membership Status
Current members who wish to change their membership status should complete and submit a Change of Status form.
When a Trainee member qualifies for Regular membership or no longer qualifies for Trainee status, he/she may apply for Regular or Associate membership. Current Trainee Members wishing to transition into Regular Member status are exempt from the publications requirement if they have been a trainee member for two or more years and have presented two or more abstracts at SSR annual meetings. International trainee members are required to have presented at least one abstract at an SSR annual meeting and at least one abstract at a regional meeting. Nominees must submit evidence of such participation (e.g., reference or link to the program listing of the abstract presented at the meeting).
