Accreditation
Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and The Society for the Study of Reproduction. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
AMA (AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM)
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 28 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ACOG
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has assigned 26 cognate credits to this program.
- Needs Assessment and Course Description
CANDES Symposium
In 2006, SSR is pleased to partner with the Third International Symposium on Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) for the Conservation and Genetic Management of Companion Animals, Non-Domestic and Endangered Species (CANDES). The CANDES Symposium will be held at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 29. Information for the CANDES meeting will be listed in the 2006 SSR program book; abstract submission requirements will be on the abstract site and presenters may submit to CANDES and/or SSR for poster presentation only.

General Information of use to Meeting Attendees is now available. This information is also available in the front of the Meeting’s Program Booklet, which was recently mailed out to Meeting Attendees who reside in the United States and Mexico. Please remember to bring your copy of the Program Booklet if you received one; extra copies will be available for people who did not receive one through the mail.

In association with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the SSR has applied for CME accreditation of its Annual Meeting.
Registration Information
Online preregistration closed 14 July, midnight CST. On-site registration will begin 9:00 am Saturday, 29 July.

*nonmember trainees will need to submit a signed statement from their major professor or mentor with their registration to qualify for the trainee discount.
Cancellation Information
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received in writing on or before July 14, 2006. Cancellations received after July 14 and before July 28 will be subject to a service charge of US $75.00. No refund will be issued for cancellations after July 28, 2006. Refunds will be issued within four weeks after the Annual Meeting.

Accommodations
Blocks of rooms at several hotels near the Qwest Center Omaha, site of the 2006 Annual Meeting, have been reserved for meeting attendees. July is one of the most popular times of the year for tourism—we strongly suggest that you reserve your room as soon as possible.
Customs and Immigration
We encourage foreign scientists planning to attend the SSR Annual Meeting to apply for a visa as early as possible and pay careful attention to US State Department guidance in this matter. Online registration is now available for exhibitors. Registration is payable by credit card, check, money order or wire transfer; credit card payments will be handled during the online registration process, and exhibitors wishing to pay by other means will be asked to print out their invoice at the end of the registration process and mail or fax it in with payment. The exhibitor registration form will ask for one contact person, and up to four name badges for people actually attending the meeting. Please contact the SSR Business Office at 608-256-2777 or on site at the Registration Area if you require assistance getting to or from any of the sessions or events, or need special dietary or physical accommodation at any of the events or sessions. SSR is happy to accommodate any attendee who needs assistance to ensure that all attendees are able to participate in the meeting.
Parking
Parking for the Meeting will be available at the Qwest Center Omaha. Parking fees will be paid daily at the parking lot gates on entry; the rate for one space with no re-entry is $6.00, and the rate is $9.00 if you would prefer the option of one exit and re-entry that day. No overnight parking is allowed.

The Local Arrangements Committee has prepared a list of things to do and see in Omaha and surrounding areas, including many family friendly attractions.
