MOGER, William Henry - 56, Boutiliers Point, passed away December 26, 2001, at home, after a short illness. Born in Roslyn, New York, he was a son of the late Charlotte (Moore) and Roy Moger. He was a professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Dalhousie University where he taught and conducted research. He is survived by his wife, RuthAnn (Simmons); stepmother, Elizabeth Moger, Hanover, N.H.; sisters, Susan (Ted Armour) Moger, Edgewater, Md.; Patricia (Sid Reischer) Moger-Reischer, East Chatham, N.Y.; niece, Rachel; nephews, Roy Moger-Reischer, Ben Moger-Williams. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Will's name to Dalhousie University Molly Appeal Fund.
The date for the memorial is Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002 at 3:00pm in the chapel at Kings College, which is at Dalhousie University. After, there will be a reception in the Great Hall of the Faculty Club. It will be a Quaker memorial -- ie no preacher. Some of Will's friends from Dalhousie and Acadia Universities have been asked to say a few words, but at a Quaker gathering everyone is welcome to speak. The memorial is over when there is nothing more to say. So don't be shy.
Please pass this information on to anyone else that you think should know.
I hope to see you all at the memorial.
