Save the Date: Solving Challenges in Contraceptive Discovery and Innovation

Starts:  Sep 30, 2020 9:00 AM (ET)
Ends:  Oct 14, 2020 5:00 PM (ET)

Contraception plays a vital role in family planning and improving health and economic opportunities for women. Yet a lack of appropriate choice and access mean that the contraceptive needs of hundreds of millions wishing to avoid pregnancy go unmet in both developed and developing countries.

Thanks to the generous support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Society for the Study of Reproduction in partnership the International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) is excited to present a series of virtual symposia focused on novel contraceptive discovery.

The goal of this event is to stimulate new research and novel approaches to solving the challenges to innovation and creating increased choice, particularly in non-hormonal contraceptives.  We look forward to welcoming participants from all areas of reproductive biology research and all geographic regions to engage in exploring challenges and creating opportunities for new innovations in this important and underrepresented field of study

For three dates this fall, SSR will be partnering with the Gates Foundation and International Congress of Endocrinology for an online event - greatly due to the generous support of the Gates Foundation.
