Hi! I'm Rachel West, a current post-doc at the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. I got my PhD in Reproductive Physiology from Colorado State University and a MS in Animal Science from the University of Georgia. My research revolves around the first trimester placenta. Currently, I'm studying the peri-implantation stage trophectoderm in the human and the molecular mechanisms that drive implantation.
In my free time, I get as much out of what Colorado has to offer as possible. I hike, trail run, and ski as often as I can. I also am a soccer nut so you can often find me on the pitch!
